For those of you who have never been to The Long Beach Comic Expo or even if you have been there, here are a few helpful tips to help you plan out your time at the LBCE!
First, get your tickets. The lines get pretty long so make sure to get to the convention with plenty of time to spare. Parking this year is in the back of the convention center as this convention now needs to biggest hall they have. parking prices can vary but should be around $10 per day.
Of course, check out the main website for a map of the convention, the schedule for both days including panels, guest appearances and other fun events that are taking placing.
Conventions are also great for Cosplaying as your favorite character! But keep a few things in mind:
- Always ask to take a picture with someone, never assume it is ok.
- Never act inappropriately towards a cosplayer, you can be removed from the convention for this.
- Always be polite and thank the cosplayer for their time.
The convention hours are as follows:
Saturday: 10:00am – 7:00pm
Sunday: 10:00am – 5:00pm
Make sure to review the panels, signing and other actives before heading to the convention to plan what you would like to see and do!
