What a weekend! The Star Wars Celebration took place at the Anaheim convention center this year! It was the first time that the celebration was held in Anaheim. Rumor has it that they might be bringing it back very soon, but this has not been confirmed.

The opening day was full of excitement as JJ Adrams , the cast and other people involved with the new film were on hand to bring some insight into what the new film will contain. We also got to see the new droid BB-8! Still trying to figure out how they got that droid to work! None the less, it was a very exciting day! The cast and crew also premiered a new trailer with more insight into the film. Favorite moment by far was the ending with Han and Chewie. If you have not seen it yet, click the link below to view it now!

The celebration as one could image was very crowded all four days, only Saturday though was sold out. We took a few pictures, which are posted in our events section. There were several panels throughout all four days with different topics, the stars were giving their own panels as well as doing signing events.

You got the chance as well to take pictures with set pieces from different locations of the Star Wars Universe from the canteena, the falcon, death star, Jabba the Hut, Rancor or you could step in to the jail of the Mandalorians. The new Battlefront game was also there with a preview and some never before seen footage. We  were excited for the game before but now we can not wait. ( we even went home and pre-ordered the game already!).

There was a lot to see and no way to do so in one day. So for those that could not make it this year, be prepared for the next time The Celebration comes to town, purchase the 4 day pass or even a 2 day one. This way you can see all that the convention floor has to offer as well as come back and do panels, signings and other exhibits. There were lines for pretty much everything there so be prepared and be patient.

We had a fantastic time and wish it was not over, but alas, it is time to return to reality! Until next time Star Wars Celebration, we will be waiting!
